Softball Recap: Bald Eagle Area Makes It Six in a Row at Home

Bald Eagle Area strolled into their game on Tuesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Hollidaysburg Golden Tigers. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Bald Eagle Area got a great performance from Sierra Albright as she struck out 12 batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Albright has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two hits any time she's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, Maelee Yoder was excellent, scoring a run while going 3-for-3. Another player making a difference was Sydney Thompson, who scored two runs while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.
