Basketball Game Preview: Olentangy Liberty Patriots vs. Goodpasture Christian Cougars

The Olentangy Liberty Patriots and the Goodpasture Christian Cougars will round out the year against one another at at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Olentangy Liberty is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.1 points per game this season.

Having struggled with three losses in a row, Olentangy Liberty turned things around against Hilliard Bradley on Friday. They came out on top against the Jaguars by a score of 47-35.

Claire Mikola was her usual excellent self, going 6 of 10 on her way to 15 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Mikola is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Addy Pyles, who posted eight points.

Meanwhile, Goodpasture Christian entered their tilt with Silverdale Academy on Saturday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They walked away with a 65-54 victory over the Seahawks.

Goodpasture Christian has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a massive bump to their 5-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.3 points per game. As for Olentangy Liberty, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
