Two dominant signal callers in Dylan Miller and Elijah Lewis are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The South County Stallions will face off against the Falls Church Jaguars at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. South County will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.
On Friday, South County was able to grind out a solid win over Alexandria City, taking the game 24-17.

South County found their leader in freshman Amare Acheampong, who picked up 94 receiving yards and one touchdown, and also rushed for 35 yards and one TD. Thomas Powell also helped out with an impressive 87 receiving yards.
South County didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Alexandria City to a completion percentage of just 50%. The team can thank Trevion Campbell for the heroic effort on defense: he. South County wasn't nearly as limited: they posted one of 69.2%.
South County's defense didn't let Alpha Jalloh, get away unscathed either: they got into the backfield for six sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Uriah Martin and Noah Durand, who racked up four sacks between them. Martin is also on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made seven or more in each of the last three games he's played. Another thorn in Alexandria City's side was Tony Graham, who picked up a sack and made ten total tackles (3.0 for loss).
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Falls Church, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They blew past Justice 42-7 on Friday. With the Jaguars ahead 21-0 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
South County better focus on containing Chris Dewolfe and Sean Gresham as the pair were huge in Falls Church's win. Dewolfe gained 106 total yards, while Gresham rushed for 83 yards and a pair of scores on only nine carries.

South County's record now sits at 7-3. As for Falls Church, their record is now an identical 7-3.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Friday's game: South County has been excellent in the air this season, having averaged 319.3 passing yards per game. It's a different story for Falls Church, though, as they've been averaging only 57.1 passing yards. How will they fare against such a dominant passing game?
Everything came up roses for South County against Falls Church in their previous matchup back in November of 2019, as the team secured a 43-0 victory. Will the Stallions repeat their success, or do the Jaguars have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
