Recap: Ocoee Knights vs. Haines City Hornets
The Ocoee Knights had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 42.6 points), and they went ahead and made it six on Friday. They snuck past Haines City with a 38-32 victory.
Ocoee had a senior duo take command as Micah Hannah scored 12 points along with six rebounds and four steals and Paris Triplett dropped a double-double on ten points and 13 rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which Hannah has scored at least 25% of Ocoee's points.
Despite the loss, Haines City had strong showings from Zebrelle Canaday, who scored 16 points, and Arissa Jenkins, who scored 15 points. The matchup was Jenkins' 11th in a row with at least ten points.
Ocoee has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. As for Haines City, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-2.
