Basketball Recap: Columbus Comes Up Short

Columbus came up into this matchup off a tough 30-point loss last Tuesday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the St. Mary's-Colgan Panthers by a score of 54-52 on Friday. The Titans have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Columbus' defeat dropped their record down to 1-11-1. As for St. Mary's-Colgan, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 10-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Columbus will challenge Field Kindley at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for St. Mary's-Colgan, they will take on Riverton at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
