Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Jonesboro-Hodge). They blew past the Glenbrook Apaches 76-48 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Tigers have posted since December 26, 2024.

Despite the loss, Glenbrook saw an underclassman step up: freshman Carson Powell shot 6-for-11 from long range and dropped a double-double with 31 points and 11 rebounds.

Jonesboro-Hodge's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 12-18. As for Glenbrook, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-15.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jonesboro-Hodge will square off against Weston at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Glenbrook, they will host Haynesville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
