Veterans won the last time they faced Lee County and things went their way on Thursday too. The Veterans Warhawks took down the Lee County Trojans 51-33. The win was familiar territory for the Warhawks, who have now won five contests in a row.

Several Trojans players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Bayyinah Citlak, who posted eight points and five rebounds. Citlak is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Taliyah Porter, who had ten points and three steals.

Veterans' victory bumped their record up to 18-8. As for Lee County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 17-9.

Veterans wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 57-44 defeat against Coffee on the 14th. As for Lee County, they have also already played their next game, a 47-18 win against Northside on the 14th.
