After a string of three wins, Forest's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell just short of the Mount Paran Christian Eagles by a score of 2-1.

Forest's offense was headlined by Lexie Quash and Savanna Eatman, who picked up eight kills apiece. They got some help from Mae Owen and her ten assists. Eatman was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Mount Paran Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kelsie Moran, who had 14 digs. That's the most digs Moran has posted over her last eight matchups. Emma Schwaig was another key player, getting 13 digs and one assist.

Forest's loss dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Mount Paran Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season.

Forest has already played their next game, a 3-1 victory against New Smyrna Beach on the 2nd. As for Mount Paran Christian, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against St. Francis at 6:00 p.m. on the 9th.
