East Jackson strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They enjoyed a cozy 37-22 win over the Dawson County Tigers. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.

Dawson County lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Cody Mcbrayer, who rushed for 82 yards and one TD. Dawson County also got help from Dylan Edwards, who showed off his sure hands for 136 receiving yards.

East Jackson's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Dawson County, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. East Jackson will take on White County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Dawson County, they will square off against Banks County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
