Male is a perfect 6-0 against Pleasure Ridge Park since March of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Bulldogs will venture away from home to face off against the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. Male will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

Male had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Woodford County on Tuesday. The Bulldogs were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Yellowjackets. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 14 contests by eight runs or more this season.

Lily Jones was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April. Mya Green was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.

Male always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .593. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Woodford County only posted an OBP of .318.

Meanwhile, Pleasure Ridge Park unfortunately witnessed the end of their 14-game winning streak on Wednesday. They took an 8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of South Oldham.

Save Strange made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one stolen base and one run.

Male's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 24-8. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Pleasure Ridge Park, they suffered their first road loss, dropping their record down to 39-4.

Male took their win against Pleasure Ridge Park in their previous matchup back in May of 2021 by a conclusive 23-3 score. Do the Bulldogs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Panthers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
