             West Melbourne Christian Academy couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a  blow against the Heritage Christian School Eagles on Friday, falling  75-48. West Melbourne Christian Academy has struggled against Heritage Christian School recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.
 Heritage Christian School's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Jeremiah Reid, who  dropped  a double-double on 24 points and 14  rebounds. The  match was  Reid's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was  Elijah Reid, who  dropped  a double-double on 18 points and 13  rebounds.
 The  victory made it two in a row for Heritage Christian School and  bumps their season record up to 2-0.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Melbourne Christian Academy will have a little extra prep time after the  loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Morningside Academy at 7:00  p.m.  on December 6th. As for Heritage Christian School, their road trip will continue as they head out to face Family Christian Academy at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday.
