The Bulldogs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Beavers earlier this season, when they won 5-2.
As for Tenino, their victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 12-2. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for they considering their two-run performance the contest before.
For Tenino's part, Jude Leitch was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching four innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Leitch has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
In other batting news, Tenino got a massive performance out of Will Feltus, who went 3-for-5 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. Those three hits gave Feltus a new career-high.
