Basketball Game Preview: High Island Cardinals vs. Goodrich Hornets

High Island and Goodrich are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2019, but not for long. The High Island Cardinals will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Goodrich Hornets at 6:00 p.m. High Island has now lost ten straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since December 3.

On Tuesday, High Island ended up a good deal behind Spurger and lost 41-25.

Meanwhile, Goodrich unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They were outmatched by Brookeland and fell 72-14. The Hornets were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-5.

Goodrich's defeat dropped their record down to 9-15. As for High Island, their loss dropped their record down to 1-10.
