Whitewater has gone 7-1 against LaGrange recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. Whitewater will venture away from home to take on LaGrange at 6:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

LaGrange will be up against a hot Whitewater team: the squad just extended their winning streak to six. Whitewater's defense stepped up to hand Sandy Creek a 3-0 shutout on Tuesday. The score was close at halftime, but Whitewater pulled away in the second half with two goals.

They hit Sandy Creek with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Kate Mitchell, Anna Turner, and Raigan Young.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last contest, LaGrange made sure to put some goals up on the board against Troup County on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 10-0 win. The victory was a breath of fresh air for LaGrange as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

LaGrange's win bumped their record up to 4-9. As for Whitewater, their victory bumped their record up to 9-3.

Whitewater skirted past LaGrange 4-3 in their previous matchup back in March of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Whitewater since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
