Basketball Recap: Olive Branch Takes a Loss

If Olive Branch was riding high fresh off their 59-39 takedown of Horn Lake on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Conquistadors took a 58-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Southwind Jaguars on Thursday. The Conquistadors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Jaguars apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2017.

Olive Branch now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Southwind, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Olive Branch will welcome Holmes County Central at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Southwind, they will take on Ridgeland at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
