Volleyball Recap: Kelly Comes Up Short

Kelly lost against Sikeston back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Hawks lost 3-0 to the Bulldogs. The Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Kelly took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-6, 25-8, 25-10.

Sikeston found their leader in freshman Londyn Mitchell, who had ten digs and six aces.

Kelly's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Sikeston, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-12-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Kelly will challenge Charleston at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Sikeston, they will head out to take on Oran at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
