Football Recap: Wes-Del Comes Up Short

If Wes-Del was riding high fresh off their 36-14 takedown of Southern Wells last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Warriors took a hard 32-14 fall against the Delphi Community Oracles on Friday.

Although Wes-Del took the loss, they still got scores from Brock Nauman and Zach Gillam.

Wes-Del's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Delphi Community, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-3 record.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wes-Del will head out to face off against Monroe Central at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Delphi Community, they will venture away from home to challenge Clinton Prairie at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
