Soccer Game Preview: Bossier vs. Parkway

The Bossier Bearkats will square off against the Parkway Panthers at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

As a matter of fact, Bossier put up the most goals they have all season on Tuesday. They blew past Minden 9-1. Bossier haven't had any issues with Minden recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Parkway sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-4 win over Minden on Thursday. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for Parkway's offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Parkway's victory bumped their record up to 3-5-1. As for Bossier, their win bumped their record up to 6-7-3.

Bossier was able to grind out a solid victory over Parkway when the teams last played back in December of 2024, winning 2-0. Will the Bearkats repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
