Baseball Game Preview: South Fulton Red Devils vs. Carlisle County Comets

The South Fulton Red Devils will head out to challenge the Carlisle County Comets at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. South Fulton is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.

Things were looking good for South Fulton after they put the first run on the board on Friday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They fell just short of Hickman County by a score of 4-3.

Meanwhile, Carlisle County lost 7-1 to McCracken County on Friday. The Comets have struggled against the Mustangs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Carlisle County's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for South Fulton, they now have a losing record of 6-7.

South Fulton came out on top in a nail-biter against Carlisle County in their previous meeting back in April of 2021, sneaking past 1-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Red Devils since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
