Basketball Recap: Onalaska Comes Up Short

Onalaska lost against Anderson-Shiro back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Onalaska Wildcats were outmatched by the Anderson-Shiro Fighting Owls and fell 52-19.

Onalaska has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-15 record this season. As for Anderson-Shiro, their record now sits at 6-11.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Onalaska will challenge Coldspring-Oakhurst at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Onalaska is facing Coldspring-Oakhurst at the right time seeing as Coldspring-Oakhurst is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Anderson-Shiro, they will welcome New Waverly at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. New Waverly will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Anderson-Shiro surely won't give up without a fight.
