Volleyball Recap: Del Mar Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Piedmont Hills, Del Mar was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Leland Chargers. This was a revenge game for the Dons: when they faced off against the Chargers back in March, they had to take a 3-2 defeat.

The win didn't come easy: Leland scored at least 20 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-23, 22-25, 25-23.

The victory got Del Mar back to even at 11-11. As for Leland, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-15.

Del Mar wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Leigh on the 24th. As for Leland, they have also already played their next game, a 3-1 defeat against Branham on the 24th.
