Volleyball Recap: Altamont Has No Trouble Against Pinnacle

Altamont won the last time they faced Pinnacle and things went their way on Monday too. The Longhorns blew past the Panthers 3-0.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Altamont took every set by at least 12 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-10, 25-7.

Hazlie Bagley paced Altamont's offense, picking up nine kills. Bagley got some help from Lauren Thacker and her 14 assists. Chezney Bywater controlled things from the service line, finishing with 13 aces.

The win got Altamont back to even at 1-1. As for Pinnacle, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Altamont will square off against Manila at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. The game will give the Longhorns their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Pinnacle, they will be playing at home against Dugway at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
