Baseball Recap: Norwich Free Academy Takes a Loss

Norwich Free Academy has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.63 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Saturday. They lost 10-2 to the East Lyme Vikings. The Wildcats have struggled against the Vikings recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Norwich Free Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 12-7. As for East Lyme, they pushed their record up to 13-4 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Norwich Free Academy will face off against West Haven at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for East Lyme, they will challenge Old Lyme at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
