After losing to Georgetown Visitation Prep the last time they met, Flint Hill decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Huskies came out on top against the Cubs by a score of 2-0 on Saturday.

Hunter Ross paced Flint Hill's offense, picking up 12 kills. Ross got some help from Ava Zender and her 21 assists. Ross also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Mila Smith, each putting up two.

Flint Hill's win bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Georgetown Visitation Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-5.

Coincidentally, Flint Hill and Georgetown Visitation Prep will both be playing The Academy of the Holy Cross the next time they take the court. The Cubs will head out to face the Tartans at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Huskies will play them later in the day, at 1:00 p.m.
