Basketball Recap: Minden Continues Home Dominance on Tuesday

Minden put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victor by a 53-32 margin over the Beatrice Orangemen. The Whippets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Myla Emery was her usual excellent self, going 7 for 9 on her way to 19 points in addition to five assists and five boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Kinsie Land, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds.

Minden's win was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-0. As for Beatrice, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-2.

Minden will square off against Valentine at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Minden is facing Valentine at the right time seeing as Valentine is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Beatrice, they will face off against Seward on Thursday.
