Volleyball Recap: Kent Denver Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Kent Denver was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They came up short against the Forge Christian Fury, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Sun Devils of the 3-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-20, 25-15.

Austin Duncan paced Kent Denver's offense, picking up seven kills. Duncan got some help from Marissa Garcia and her eight assists. Duncan was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Kent Denver's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Forge Christian, they pushed their record up to 12-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Kent Denver didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against Eagle Ridge Academy on the 9th. As for Forge Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Stargate School on the 7th.
