West's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the McGregor Bulldogs. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 10-0 on March 4th.

The team relied heavily on Dub Crain, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. Those two hits gave him a new career-high.

West's win bumped their record up to 9-5-1. As for McGregor, they dropped their record down to 7-7 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

West will have a chance to go back-to-back against McGregor: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
