Baseball Recap: Parkrose Comes Up Short

Parkrose lost against Putnam back in May of 2018, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Broncos took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Kingsmen. The Broncos have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Chaz Johnson was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two doubles and one run.

Parkrose's defeat dropped their record down to 7-17. As for Putnam, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-13.

While Parkrose had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
