Rocky Mount won the last time they faced Southern Wayne and things went their way on Thursday too. The Gryphons walked away with an 18-13 win over the Saints. That's two games straight that the Gryphons have won by exactly five runs.

The victory made it two in a row for Rocky Mount and bumps their season record up to 2-11. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 18.5 runs over those games. As for Southern Wayne, they are on a 21-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-13.
