After a string of three wins, Christian Home Educators Fellowship's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They lost 14-4 to the Silliman Institute Wildcats. The Patriots were not able to make up for their defeat to the Wildcats from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

Christian Home Educators Fellowship saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Luke Babin, who scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-3. That's the most hits Babin has posted since back in April of 2024. Another was Collin Champlin, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Christian Home Educators Fellowship's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Silliman Institute, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

Coming up, Christian Home Educators Fellowship is taking a road trip to take on Bowling Green at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Silliman Institute, they will take on Amite School Center at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
