Baseball Game Preview: Lakeside Eagles vs. Colville Crimson Hawks

For the second straight game, Lakeside will face off against Colville. The Eagles will head out on the road to take on the Crimson Hawks at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lakeside is coming into the match hot, having won their last six games.

On Saturday, Lakeside beat Colville 9-5.

For Colville's part, they got a good showing from Gunnar Baker, who pitched four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits.

On the hitting side, Ethan Redberg was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Luke Bateman, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Lakeside's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-7. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.5 runs over those games. As for Colville, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season.
