Baseball Recap: Lamar Warriors vs. Cossatot River Eagles
It may have taken ten innings to finish the job, but Lamar ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They came out on top against the Cossatot River Eagles by a score of 9-5. This was payback for the Warriors, who suffered an 8-7 loss the last time these two teams met.
Quinton Williams was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out six over four innings pitched. Williams was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-5 with four RBI, one stolen base, and one run. Those three hits gave him a new career-high.
