Soccer Recap: Freedom Snaps Five-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Thursday just wasn't the day for Freedom's offense. They fell just short of the Lake Nona Lions by a score of 1-0 on Thursday. Considering the last time the Patriots couldn't score was back in December of 2024, the team can't take the result too hard.

Freedom's loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-5-1. As for Lake Nona, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-0-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Freedom will face off against Tohopekaliga at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Lake Nona, they will challenge West Orange at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Lake Nona is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.8 goals per game this season.
