Lubbock-Cooper had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. Everything went their way against the Palo Duro Dons as they made off with a 10-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 15-0 on Tuesday.

The victory got Lubbock-Cooper back to even at 6-6-1. As for Palo Duro, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 12 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season.

Coincidentally, Lubbock-Cooper and Palo Duro will both be playing Coronado the next time they take the field. The Pirates will host the Mustangs at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Dons will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
