Softball Recap: East Hampton Bellringers vs. Hale Ray Noises
East Hampton couldn't beat Hale Ray on Tuesday even though they stacked four runs on them in the fourth inning. The Bellringers lost 17-8 to the Noises. The Bellringers have struggled against the Noises recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.
Neha Sidana and Kailyn Crowley stepped up to the plate in a big way. Sidana went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one double, while Crowley went 2-for-3 with three RBI and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Amelia Chrin, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.
East Hampton now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Hale Ray, their record now sits at 9-3.
East Hampton wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 12-5 loss against Valley Regional on the 1st. As for Hale Ray, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 21-6 victory against Portland on the 2nd.
