Templeton and Atascadero are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2019, but likely not for long. The Eagles will be playing at home against the Greyhounds at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Templeton is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last five games.

Templeton picked up another tournament win on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Millikan as they made off with a 9-3 victory.

Charlie Kline made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched seven innings while giving up three earned runs off eight hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run.

In other batting news, Andrew Raab was excellent, going 2-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Templeton kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in seven consecutive contests.

Meanwhile, Atascadero came up short against Dos Pueblos on Wednesday and fell 5-1. The Greyhounds have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Atascadero saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Taylor Kerr, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double.

Atascadero's loss dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Templeton, their win bumped their record up to 13-9.

Templeton beat Atascadero 4-0 in their previous meeting back in March. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Greyhounds have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
