Basketball Recap: Valley Christian Comes Up Short

Valley Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They received a blow as they fell 37-20 to the Memorial Red Devils. The Eagles were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Red Devils earlier this season, when they won 36-33.

Memorial found their leader in sophomore Rayona Floyd-Brown, who posted 13 points along with five boards and three steals.

Valley Christian's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Memorial, with the win, they broke their 12-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-13.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Valley Christian will square off against David Anderson at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Memorial, they will challenge Western Reserve at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
