Oregon lands 7-foot-2 high school basketball star Bol Bol

It's been an eventful couple of weeks for high school basketball star Bol Bol.

The tantalizing 7-foot-2 center transferred from Mater Dei (Santa Ana, Calif.) to Findlay Prep (Henderson, Nev.) 10 days ago. Monday, he announced via The Players Tribune he would be playing college basketball at Oregon.
Bol, the son of late former NBA center Manute Bol, originally began his high school career in Kansas but relocated to Southern California last fall. He played 15 games last year at Mater Dei, averaging 16.5 points, 8.6 rebounds and 2.9 blocked shots per outing.

247Sports has Bol pegged as the No. 3 overall prospect in the Class of 2018. Kentucky was the other primary player in his recruitment.
