Soccer Game Preview: Norris vs. Standing Bear

The Norris Titans will challenge the Standing Bear Grizzlies at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Norris' offense. They fell 2-0 to Gretna East on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Standing Bear was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 8-0 to Bennington. While losing is never fun, Standing Bear can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Nebraska soccer rankings (they are ranked 60th, while Bennington are ranked first).

Norris has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. As for Standing Bear, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8.
