Volleyball Recap: Crescent City Triumphs

Crescent City won the last time they faced Peniel Baptist Academy and things went their way on Thursday too. The Raiders came out on top against the Warriors by a score of 3-1.

The victory didn't come easy: Peniel Baptist Academy scored at least 19 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-21, 18-25, 25-19.

Parker Bornstein paced Crescent City's offense, picking up nine kills. Bornstein got some help from Reagan Chayer and her 18 assists. Finally, Katie Hart kept Crescent City's defense grounded, leading the team with seven blocks.

The win got Crescent City back to even at 1-1. As for Peniel Baptist Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
