Volleyball Recap: Temple Christian Starts Season with Defeat at Home

Temple Christian unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They lost 3-0 to the Botkins Trojans on Tuesday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it eight in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-7, 25-17.

Madison Loy had a dynamite game For Botkins., getting ten aces and seven digs. Those ten aces gave Loy a new career-high.

Coming up, Temple Christian will square off against Cory-Rawson at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. This will be the Pioneers' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Botkins, they will head out on the road to face off against Bradford at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday.
