Ellsworth proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by three) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran Lancers 2-1. That's more bragging rights for the Panthers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Ellsworth's win bumped their record up to 9-20. As for Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-13 record this season.

Coincidentally, Ellsworth and Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran will both be playing Hudson the next time they take the court. The Panthers will head out to face the Raiders at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Lancers will play them later in the day, at 11:00 a.m.
