Basketball Game Preview: Valley Vikings vs. Fort Lupton Bluedevils

Valley is 0-6 against Fort Lupton since December of 2016 but things could change on Thursday. The Vikings will take on the Bluedevils in a tournament on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Friday, Valley came up short against Platte Valley and fell 72-59. The Vikings were down 60-30 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Meanwhile, Fort Lupton took a blow against Banning Lewis Academy on Saturday, falling 94-34. The loss put an end to the Bluedevils' undefeated start to the season.

Valley's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Fort Lupton, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Valley suffered a grim 64-39 defeat to Fort Lupton when the teams last played back in December of 2022. Can the Vikings avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
