Soccer Recap: Skyview Comes Up Short

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Skyview was not quite Longmont's equal in the second half on Tuesday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Trojans. Skyview were not able to make up for their defeat to Longmont from their previous meeting back in August of 2024.

Skyview's goal came courtesy of Sebastian Gonzalez, which was the first he's scored this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Skyview and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for Longmont, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, Skyview will be playing in front of their home fans against Westminster at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Longmont, they are taking a road trip to face off against Northglenn at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
