SCISA 8-Man Region I (8 Man) recap October 22, 2013

Adding to the longest winning streak in SCISA 8-Man Region I (8 Man) this week, James Island Christian beat Faith Christian 46-42. This was the team's seventh consecutive win.

Henry Academy took down Coastal Christian Prep 52-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Joseph Wilson ran for 136 yards and caught 1 pass for 53 yards during the win.

Josh Black threw for 142 yards and 3 touchdowns.

Manny Smalls was a passing and rushing force as Charleston Collegiate defeated St. John's Christian Academy. He completed 4 passes for 57 yards and also ran for 392 yards.

Smalls was a force in the backfield as Charleston Collegiate bested the Cavaliers.

Smalls was the most successful running back in the league this week. In 16 carries, he ran for 392 yards as Archie horne's team defeated the Knights. Teammate Justin Arnold added to the ground attack by rushing for 131 yards.

James Island Christian's Black and Hickman have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Black has thrown for 932 yards this season, while Hickman has 21 catches for 649 yards. Wilson from the Patriots leads the league in rushing with 1,962 yards.

The most important game in SCISA 8-Man Region I (8 Man) this week will be the match up between Beaufort Academy and James Island Christian. Beaufort Academy enters the game ranked 15th in the state, while James Island Christian ranks fifth.

Charleston Collegiate led the league in scoring this week by notching 86 points on St. John's Christian Academy. Smalls in the win.
