Volleyball Recap: Perry Comes Up Short

Perry was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Cory-Rawson Fighting Hornets. If the Commodores were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Fighting Hornets when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-19, 25-14.

Perry's loss dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Cory-Rawson, their victory ended a nine-match drought at home and bumped them up to 2-12.

Perry didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Ridgedale on the 27th. As for Cory-Rawson, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Cardinal Stritch on the 27th.
