Softball Recap: Shorewood Takes a Loss

After soaring to 17 runs the game before, Shorewood was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They lost 12-1 to the Shorecrest Scots. The Stormrays were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Scots earlier this season, when they won 12-0.

Lillian Perreault made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with one double and one RBI. Cameryn Hubbard also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Shorewood has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-9 record this season. As for Shorecrest, their record is now 6-13.

As of now, neither Shorewood nor the Scots have any future games scheduled.
