Soccer Game Preview: Huntley vs. Elk Grove + How To Watch

The Huntley Red Raiders will venture away from home to square off against the Elk Grove Grenadiers at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Huntley's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over Hampshire. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Huntley's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 11th, while Hampshire are ranked 80th).

Meanwhile, Elk Grove hasn't lost a match since September 22nd, a trend which continued in their latest game on Tuesday. They and Wheeling finished up on equal footing with a 0-0 draw.

Huntley's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-1-3. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 22 goals over those seven matches. Elk Grove's draw gives them a new season record of 9-4-4.
