            Basketball Recap: Flint Hills Christian Warriors vs. Sunrise Christian Academy Buffaloes        
        
		
        
        
            Flint Hills Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight  loss. They were  outmatched by the Sunrise Christian Academy Buffaloes and fell  70-14. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings  (they are ranked 323rd, while the Buffaloes are ranked 12th).
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Sunrise Christian Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Sam Kadiri, who  posted eight points in addition to seven  boards and three  blocks.  Taiton Schmidt was another key player,  putting up seven  points and four  steals.
Flint Hills Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Sunrise Christian Academy, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won nine of their last ten games,  which provided a nice bump to their 12-2 record  this season.
 Flint Hills Christian will have a little extra prep time after the  loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Newton HomeSchool at 7:30  p.m.  on February 21st. As for Sunrise Christian Academy, they will square off against Haysville Campus at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday. One thing working in Sunrise Christian Academy's favor is that they have posted at least 55  points  in their last ten contests.
