Softball Recap: Economics & Finance Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Economics & Finance came into Thursday's matchup having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. Everything went their way against Information Tech on Thursday as they made off with a 22-4 win.

Economics & Finance's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Information Tech, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-4.

After both having extra time off, Economics & Finance and Manhattan Village Academy will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 4:00 p.m. on the 21st. The Silver Hawks' pitching crew has only allowed 2.5 runs per game this season, so Economics & Finance's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Information Tech, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Chelsea at 4:00 p.m. on the 21st. Information Tech are facing the Lions at the right time seeing as the Lions are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
